We got to the Capitol nice and early. We got Olivia all settled into her stroller only to find out the tire was flat. Instead, we decided we would have to carry her.
Here is our team - Howie, Olivia, Jen, Grandma Laurie, Grandpa Brian, Aunt Amanda, Chris, Zia and Icky!
Icky couldn't wait to start (or to get to the other dogs...whatever)!

...Icky was not. He got much better as we went along.

We all took turns holding Olivia. She did really well, but walking while carrying her is like walking with 20 lb weights!

The finish line! We were among the first teams back, but we cheated a little. Since Olivia was with us (without a stroller), we took the short route. It was 3 miles instead of 6.

Lunch was provided after the walk, so we all got sandwiches or pizza.
We are so happy that we got to participate in the walk again this year. Our team raised $1288. Thank you Grandma, Grandpa, Amanda and Chris for coming up!
