Such a Weirdo!

Here are just a few of the things we've been up to lately.

Olivia got a new table and chairs. She has been playing with puzzles A LOT and we got tired of stepping on the pieces. Now she has the perfect place to play!

The first thing she did when we put her on the chair was stand-up. The chairs are just a little too high for her to get on by herself, so we figured as long as we sat by her while she sat there, she wouldn't get hurt. We were wrong. After about 2 hours she had learned to climb up onto the chair all by herself. We were cooking dinner when all of the sudden, Olivia's head popped up and over the counter. Now the chairs stay tucked under the table when we aren't around.

We went to the farmer's market last saturday. Olivia likes to walk all by herself.

Apparently she thinks that 17 1/2 months is the age when one no longer needs to hold mommy or daddy's hand.

Dress up is still a favorite at our house. She's moved from head bands, hats, and tutus to bigger things...

We went out to dinner and Olivia got a chip, which she called a cracker. To be completely honest...she called it cucka, but we knew what she meant!

It didn't taste like a cracker...

Despite what this face seems to show, she really did like it. Now she looks for chips/cuckas at every restaurant.

Here she is playing her drum. She has an unconventional style...

And last but not least - SHOES. Olivia is obsessed with SHOES. Her shoes, daddy's shoes, and mommy's shoes...

She's a problem solver...
