Pumpkin Patch 2010

We met Gaylene, Naomi, and Kaori at the pumpkin patch. First, the girls climbed on a big haystack.

Then they posed as farmers.

Next we saw the baby animals. These are baby pygmy goats. These were some of the bigger babies, there were 2 that were smaller and we even saw a pregnant goat who was going to have her babies any day.

Each girl got to hold a baby chick...

...but Olivia needed a little help.

The bunnies were pretty scared of the kids. I think this pictures shows why. We had to take it away from Olivia pretty quick because she was a little too rough.

The kittens were so young that they asked us not to let the kids hold them, so they just pet the tiny little cats.

Olivia was scared of the calf. It took her a few minutes to be comfortable enough to go up to it.

After we'd seen all the animals, we finally went to find pumpkins.

Olivia wanted to pick up her own pumpkin, but she didn't realize how heavy they were.

Finally, she found one that was just her size!

Before we left, we took a family picture!

We only bought that tiny pumpkin that day and had to go back a few weeks later to get our carving pumpkins.
