We spent the holiday at home and had a wonderful "family day" as Olivia calls it!
Howie set up our new pool. Olivia was so excited to play in the water and Howie was excited the pool came with a cup holder!
Charlotte was a little nervous at first, but after a few minutes she started splashing and trying to crawl away from me!
We had fruit salad and Olivia was impressed how the bowl floated in the pool. The water helped keep the fruit cold, but then Olivia started splashing and the fruit was covered in pool water :(
We had a delicious dinner! There were homemade maple-baked beans, 2 kinds of chicken, corn on the cob, Hawaiian bread, homemade ice cream, and a peach tart!

Charlotte was worn out! She took a nice long nap and looked so peaceful...
... until she was ready to play some more!
After dinner, we went over to the Bonino's house to watch fireworks. It was such a nice, fun day!
