Olivia in her new hat. One of Amanda's teachers sent us a few hats that she made. This pink one fits perfectly. This picture was taken right after the nurse had given her a bath!
When we got to the hospital this afternoon, the nurse told us that she weighed in at 2 lbs, 5 oz last night. Because this was over 2 ounces more than she weighed the night before, the nurse told us that the night nurse must have made a mistake. It turns out that there was no mistake - earlier this evening she weighed in at 1040 grams or 2 lbs, 5 oz!
Today we spent all afternoon at the hospital. It is much easier to hold Olivia now that she doesn't have the big tubes on her face. She has been off of the bigger machine for over 24 hours and is doing very well. We each held her for over an hour. It is so nice to spend the afternoon holding our little girl!
