So busy...

We have had a very busy few weeks. Olivia got to go to Great-Grandma Judy's house to play while I worked in Chico for a day, Grandma Laurie and Grandpa Brian came to visit, and our friend Kelly came to visit. Most exciting of all...Olivia started rolling over! Now, everytime we put her down on her back, she immediately rolls onto her tummy. She is still practicing rolling back, but I have a feeling she will have that mastered any day now.
She was hanging out on the couch with me while I was pumping and she found my bra.

I think at first she thought it was a hat.

But after a few minutes, she managed to get it around her arm, which is when I took it away. She is just a little young for that !

When our friend Kelly came to visit, we went to the local "Oktoberfest." It was a charity event for the rotary club. It was very small, just food and dancers in funny outfits, but we had fun.

When we arrived, they gave each of us a pretzel necklace.

Howie enjoyed the beer.
This is Kelly!

Olivia and Kelly became very good friends.

They even watched football together.

She finally fits in her football outfit (even though it is still a little baggy)!

Go Panthers!

Watching sports is hard work! Or maybe it is boring? (shhh...don't tell howie I wrote that)

Here is Olivia just after rolling over.

She has gotten really strong and seems determined to get things that are just out of her reach. She can pull herself forward on the blanket while pushing with her legs, but hasn't figured out how to get her knees under her enough to crawl yet. We don't think it will be long until she figures it out.

The best part of rolling over is that she gets to sleep on her tummy. When she was in the hospital, all of the nurses told us she really preferred her tummy, but we never let her sleep that way at home. Now, even when we put her on her back, she always ends up on her tummy.

We are just about to leave for the airport to go to Palm Springs. It will be Olivia's first time on a plane. I'll let you know how it goes!

Are those Icky's spider legs all over the floor? What a crazy puppy. And if Olivia keeps growing so fast, she'll be bigger than he is by next week!

Yes, those are Icky's spider legs. Every day I pick them up and every day he brings them all back out and spreads them around the house. He will be devistated when she starts to crawl and we have to put them all outside.
